West County recognized as one of America's top 500
West County High School recently received national recognition for being named one of America’s top 500 schools who are “beating the odds.” Created and organized by Newsweek, the project sought to recognize schools that beat the odds by performing better than statistically expected for the economic status or level of poverty in the district. The 2013-14 HS yearbooks have arrived! Last year's graduates, please make arrangements to pick it up from the High School office. Also, we have extra yearbooks available to purchase for $35.00 each. Please contact the office for more information.
New Notification System

HS Drug Testing Policy
At the July 24, 2014 School Board Meeting it was approved to implement a Drug Testing Program for West County High School Students who participate in all MSHSAA sponsored activities and/or drive to school. The MSHSAA sponsored activities include all sports programs, scholar bowl, as well as band and choir competitions at the regional, district or state levels. These students will be subject to random drug testing throughout the school year. We will be scheduling informational meetings in the near future.
